My art merges my own memories, mystery and mysticism, blurring reality and fantasy. I would like to create a refuge for myself and the viewer. Surreal elements and symbols as time, space, infinity, dreams inspired by the reality evoked in memories, inviting viewers on a captivating journey. I reflect my memories with a surrealistic expression in a story telling way. In my past and present, three big stages of my life merged from Romania, to Berlin, from Berlin to Busan, South Korea, and from South Korea to Duesseldorf. These expreiences shaped my identity and influenced my artistic development.
I create different types of works such as: drawings, etchings, paintings, installations, mix media, art in public space, performances. I love collaborating with artists and I am passioned also for curating exhibitions.
When I conceive etchings, I am using a special single print technique, which leads to very limited editions of unique prints. The intensive colors of my etchings combined with the graphic lines, invites for a dialog between painting and graphic art.
